I checked it in the Stedelijk museum at it was a really good book. I was wondering why this artist is not better known... Geometry and physics are the future of art, and this book is just great.
ReplyDeleteThank You Héctor. Why not better known? Difficult to say. The story in the drawings isn't clear enough? Or the story is difficult? Stories in art must be told as an one-liner. It fits better for journalists and curators. But it is great you like the drawings, and the book.
ReplyDeleteThis comment of me is a bit grumpy, since November 2013 reviews about the book are published in Metropolis M and De Witte Raaf. Marianne Vermeijden mentioned the book in her favourite Top 3 end of the year list in NRC. And now she wrote an article about it in the Book Supplement of NRC this weekend. I am looking forward to read it.
